Lily already knows this but... in case anyone is looking for me over the next week, I need to go home for a bit. Mum's sick and Da asked me to go home and take care of her... So I'll be back in a week, as long as we don't kill each other before then!

Oh, this is a good idea. The best way to deal with people acting out against the government is, of course, to impose martial law on everyone, rather than looking at why some people would disagree and possibly dealing with these issues.
I must say, I can't think of anything that is more effective than this method. Definitely not repealing unjust laws that have pushed citizens to react so strongly. Absolutely not.
